Applications Open

Teams can submit their Business Plan at anytime via the link below
Written submissions (Word, GDoc, PDF) using the template provided addressing the Judging Criteria

6 Nov

Applications Close

Ensure your submission is complete and submitted for judging

7-9 Nov

Interviews Conducted

After an initial review of all submissions the top teams will be contacted by the Judging Panel with any questions or queries that your plan might generate

15 Nov

Winner Announcement

Top 5 Teams will do a final pitch live in Melbourne or via Zoom if you are interstate at an event
Winners will be announced at the end of the night after Judges have had a final deliberation

Eligibility

You must be connected to an Australian university or Higher Education provider as either a current student, alumni or staff member
Your business idea must be innovative within the education sector
Submissions can be made by an individual or a team – teams must nominate a leader who will answer questions for the Judging Panel and pitch if selected
Individuals can not be part of more than one team

Judging Criteria

Impact How critical is the problem this business solves?

How many students will be affected by this business?

Effectiveness Can you demonstrate improved outcomes following the use of the product or service
Understanding the market Clear articulation of the challenges and opportunities in the segment of the market being targeted
Product The product or service has been well thought through, clearly defined
Team The team has relevant skills and experience to execute the idea
Finances Financial assumptions are sound
